QuizX builds the show around your content, brings the buzzers, the scoreboard and the tech, and flies in. Your host on stage or ours. The whole room plays along on their phones.
For the IASLC World Conference on Lung Cancer, QuizX produces the closing quiz: four interdisciplinary expert teams on stage, the audience playing along at their tables, clinical trial curves revealed step by step and a final showdown to decide it. In Barcelona (2025) the plenary hall stayed full to the last question. In Seoul (2026) the whole room joined in on their own phones.
Everything on screen is built in the conference branding. The content is the organiser’s. The format, the tech, the timing and the nerves are ours.
“Amazing job with the branding and design.”
Where it works
Five ways to use a quiz show at a professional event
Same engine, different job. Pick the one closest to yours; we shape the format around it.
Conference closing session
The last slot of a congress is usually the emptiest. A live quiz between expert teams, with the whole room playing along on their phones, turns it into the session people stay for.
30–60 min · 100–2,000 people · your host or ours
Exhibition booth & lead generation
A short, branded quiz on a screen or kiosk at your stand. Visitors play for a minute, leave their details for the leaderboard, and your team gets a natural conversation starter.
runs all day · 2–5 min per player · leads exported to your CRM
Training & knowledge checks
Product launches, clinical updates, compliance, onboarding. We turn your material into rounds that people actually want to answer, with the data on what landed and what did not.
45–90 min · 10–500 people · results report afterwards
Team building & company events
A game show with music rounds, picture rounds, buzzers and a custom round about your own company. Works for 20 colleagues in a bar and for 800 at a kick-off.
60–120 min · 20–1,000 people · English-speaking host
Icebreaker, dinner or awards night
Fifteen minutes of play between courses or before the keynote. Tables become teams, strangers become opponents, and the rest of the evening runs on that energy.
10–20 min · any group size · plugs into your existing programme
From a 30-minute call to a full room, in four steps
1
A 30-minute brief
Who is in the room, what should they walk away with, what is the tone. From that we propose a format and a running order.
2
We build the show
Rounds, questions (yours, ours, or a mix), design in your event branding, music and motion. You review a full run-through before the day.
3
On-site rehearsal
We arrive a day early, connect to the venue AV, test buzzers and phones in the actual room and rehearse with your host and the stage teams.
4
Showtime
Your host presents, or ours does. We run the show from the side: scores, timing, cues and a backup for everything. You watch the room play.

Questions people ask us
Yes. QuizX is based near The Hague and produces shows across Europe and beyond. The WCLC closing quiz ran in Barcelona in 2025 and in Seoul in 2026. We bring our own equipment and work with your venue AV team.
English and Dutch are native for our team. Content can be produced in other languages together with your people, and the host can present in English while the on-screen material is in a local language.
Stage teams play on wireless buzzers we bring. The audience plays on their own phones via a QR code, either through the QuizXpress Smart Buzzer app or, depending on the format, directly in the browser. One phone per table is enough.
Four to six weeks is comfortable for a fully custom conference show. Two weeks is possible when the content is ready. A booth quiz or an icebreaker can be turned around faster.
